Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information between pages or visits. Similar technologies — such as local storage — work the same way and are covered by this policy. Some cookies are essential for a site to function; others are optional and are used only with your agreement. This policy explains the cookies this site can set, grouped into four categories, and how you can control them.
How we group cookies
We sort cookies into Necessary, Analytics, Marketing and Functional. Necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot work properly without them. The other three categories are off by default and are set only if you turn them on in our consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode, so until you consent, analytics and advertising storage stay denied. For transparency: this site does not currently load any third-party analytics or advertising scripts, so in practice only the necessary and consent cookies below are set today. The remaining entries describe cookies that would be used if we add measurement or campaign tools in future, and are listed so the categories are complete.
| Category | Example cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | as_consent_v1 |
Stores your cookie choices (in local storage) so we do not ask again on every visit. | 12 months |
| Necessary | as_session |
Maintains a secure session and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Session |
| Necessary | as_csrf |
A one-time token used to validate that the contact form was submitted by you. | Session |
| Analytics | _ga |
Would distinguish visitors to measure aggregate, anonymised usage. Set only with consent. | 13 months |
| Analytics | _ga_<id> |
Would persist session state for aggregate analytics. Set only with consent. | 13 months |
| Marketing | _gcl_au |
Would support conversion attribution for advertising campaigns. Set only with consent. | 90 days |
| Functional | as_prefs |
Remembers non-essential preferences, such as a partially completed form. Set only with consent. | 6 months |
The consent banner
On your first visit you will see a consent banner at the bottom of the screen. It offers three clear choices: Reject all (only necessary cookies remain), Accept all, and Preferences, where you can switch Analytics, Marketing and Functional on or off individually. Necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the site depends on them. Your choice is remembered and re-applied on future visits. The banner links back to this policy and to our Privacy Policy.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. To reset the banner and choose again, clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser, then reload the page. You can also manage or block cookies globally through your browser settings — every major browser lets you delete existing cookies and refuse new ones, usually under a "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data" menu. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the contact form, from working correctly.
